lets say the theory is self refutinf and a paradox. then can it be possible?

Socrates: "All generalizations are false, including this one."

The statement is possible; the reality is not possible; we can't hold as true both the philosophy that insists everything is permanent and the philosophy that nothing exists but change, itself. One might SAY that "change is the only permanence," but that would be false, as well; by definition, they cancel each other out.

Both are assumptions. How can there be a self?
