Your first statement is completely untrue. Perhaps there are some bigots who present Muslims in this light, but I think a majority of us know that there are evil people in every culture and society.
Perhaps, Muslims should hire a bigtime public relations firm to talk about the good people and deeds done by their people.
My ancestors come from a country -- Ireland -- that continues to be divided across religious lines: Protestants pitted against Catholics. There are no easy answers.

11 September 2001. and not all individuals have anti-Muslim sentiment. We do, although, have anti-terroritst sentiment. regrettably, some terrorists declare to be Muslim. smart individuals understand the kind between a Muslim and an extremist, although, as there are extremists who're the cancers of all styles of religions. they might declare to maintain on with a non secular ethic, however the questioning individuals understand that the terrorists are actually not Christian (as David Koresh claimed to be) nor Muslim (as Osama Bin laden claims to be). Steps which may well be taken to shrink adverse thoughts in the direction of incredibly Muslims in united statesa. could be to easily stay an trustworthy existence; whatever your faith, faith, or concept gadget is. we would desire to continuously all "in basic terms get alongside."

It was 2001 the towers were destroyed, although the first attempt to destroy them was back in the 90's . Anyway we are wrong, if we are going to blame all the Muslims. Most are decent and good people.

"Numerous incidents of harassment and hate crimes were reported against Middle Easterners and other "Middle Eastern-looking" people, particularly Sikhs, due to the fact that Sikh males usually wear turbans, which are stereotypically associated with Muslims in the United States. There were reports of verbal abuse, attacks on mosques and other religious buildings (including the firebombing of a Hindu temple) and assaults on people, including one murder; Balbir Singh Sodhi was fatally shot on September 15. He, like others, was a Sikh who was mistaken for a Muslim."
"Top Muslim organizations in the United States were swift to condemn the attacks on 9/11 and called "upon Muslim Americans to come forward with their skills and resources to help alleviate the sufferings of the affected people and their families". Top organizations include: Islamic Society of North America, American Muslim Alliance, American Muslim Council, Council on American-Islamic Relations, The Islamic Circle of North America, and the Shari'a Scholars Association of North America. In addition to massive monetary donations, many Islamic organizations launched blood drives and provided medical assistance, food, and residence for victims."
"Following the attacks, 80,000 Arab and Muslim immigrants were fingerprinted and registered under the Alien Registration Act of 1940. 8,000 Arab and Muslim men were interviewed, and 5,000 foreign nationals were detained under Joint Congressional Resolution 107-40 authorizing the use of military force "to deter and prevent acts of international terrorism against the United States." I had a Muslim come to my class and tell us how she really feels about America(how great it is), and the Muslim "way" was not to blow yourself up; hate the US. It worked for me when I see Muslims I don't feel uncomfortable around them, because only a sect few act like that which is not what G-d would want.

I think what needs to be done is to whack the people in the media over the head and make them stop airing footage of Muslims rioting, videos the terrorist groups make, and the 9/11 event itself. Most of the fear/hatred of Muslims is created, and driven by, the media.

Muslims themselves could speak out more against the extremists. Their silence speaks volumes.
