The ancient chinese philosopher was known for his insightful thoughts particularly in his Analects of Confucius. But there is one quote that confuses me, and that is:

"Man who walks side ways through airport door, is going to Bangkok"

I don't get it. Do you?

For me I'd say that Hannibal was the most interesting. It wasn't just is personality that astounded me, it was the way he thought and was able to move. So, who did you find interesting?

I find that most vocal effects like chorus, pitch shifters and so on are impossible to hear if done subtly and correctly (like during a recording), and too wild if you turn it up to hear it over a crowd or large room. I am even having difficulties setting up reverb and delay when I don't know what the gig is going to be like. Are there any good answers or places to figure this out?

I have a photograph of a celebrity that I think looks very cool (it's a guitarist on stage). I was thinking of printing up a few copies in a poster size and trying to sell them. The guitarist is now dead, and for that matter has been dead for 17 years now (can you guess who it is?). I'm just thinking it would look cool to have it matted and framed and hung on a wall and I'm sure others would like that too. I'm not trying to get rich, but I would have to charge something. Is that legal? At the show that night, they expressly allowed cameras, so I took the photo legally with my own camera. The guitarist's estate probably still makes money off his image though, and I'm concerned I might get sued. I'm not really doing it for profit, just love of the guitarist.

Julius Ceasar walked among us in this world.
While he was here, he was a great leader.
His accomplishments were many and great.
He was a trusting friend, a generous father, and a shining example.
Julius Ceasar expanded our influence across the many lands, and across the seas that surround us.
He was the envy of many, the glory of many, and the hero of many.
We all loved him.
He was my friend, faithful and just to me.
May the peace be with him.
We'll remember the greatness he brings to us.
We'll cherish his kindness.
He was ambition and has everything he desire.
He died because of someone jealousy.
His revenge will hunt that person with great power.
Even though he refuses the crown, I will remember him as a king.
Because to me, he was a great leader , and to you all , he was your provider in need.
And now he is gone.
The king is dead.
Long live the king.
Farewell my friend

We run a free artists showcasing website. We are wanting to add more showcasers to it so we can appeal to a greater audience. We have tried craigslist as well as a few other free classified ad websites, alas...no luck.
The website is

Anyone got any ideas?

I am 19. I've never acted in any productions, and I'm usually kind of afraid of public speaking. I think, though, that acting may be a way for me to break out of my phobia and become something of an artist as well. I wonder if I'm too old, though, to start acting. Thoughts?

I am an actress, I do not have an agent yet but I am getting head shots in the next few weeks to send to agents
I found a web sight with a bunch of info on shows but only some have the adresses to the casting directors
but they all have the info for the production companys
I was wondering can you send your resume to the production company to look at and see if they like you or just the casting directors?

I am currently hooked on Penelope Evans, and I am looking for other books that deal with psychological suspense, mystery, unreliable narrators, or suspense in general. I am not in slasher/blood guts books. I loved Donna Tartt's Secret History, The Talented Mr Ripley, First Fruits, things like that. Thanks!!!
