Ancient Greece, Rome, Persia, Africa, China, Japan...those all had slavery and/or conquests. I believe the Dutch and Portuguese began the modern African slave trade, not the English. Spain began the conquests of the Western Hemisphere, not England. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict was around LONG before Britain controlled the area in the late 1800's--it's been around at least since Rome conquered the area.
Even if your question was informed, your issues still only addressed *some* of the *current* evils in the world. There are many other issues that England had/has little to do with; there have been many other issues before England even existed as a country.
On top of that, England is where the peasantry was given rights and became 'yeomen farmers' instead of being miserably poor, landless, and starving (e.g. the peasants of the French Revolution or of Russia in the early 1900's). England had free public education, an idea that came from Rome and Greece, and wanted a highly literate populace. Also, I don't think representative government is such an evil idea. Granted, it is also from ancient Greece, but England was/is a prime modern example. All other European countries had much more powerful, arbitrary monarchs at the time that England moved toward constitutional monarchy (which is similar in function to democracy). Lastly, the English Puritans were among European peoples who believed in an excellent work ethic and personal integrity (all other Puritan quirks aside).
SO, in answer to your question, not only is England not the root of all evil in the world, but her culture *has* made positive contributions.
(And yes, there are many other cultures with similar positive contributions, but since England was the one attacked, figured she needed the defense most).

If you go further back in European history, you'll see that all the evils you allege were English were evils of the rest of Europe as well. Oops--if you look outside Europe, all these evils are part of the Arab world as well. Double Oops--these evils are also part of the Pacific Rim as well. Triple Oops--these evils are part of the African world as well. Of course, Aboriginal Australia doesn't appear to have practiced racism or slavery, but it seems likely that this culture had wars of various types themselves.
Granted, not all these countries are allies of the US nor did they participate in the Irish-English war, but they had analogous events in their own world. Slavery is still prevalent and legal in many parts of the world. Not in England.
Only a very partisan vision could attribute all evil in the world to any single people or country or culture. People of all cultures do what seems right to them most of the time. That doesn't make it moral in the view of a different time and place.

If you go back in History you will see alot of issues that relate to the England aka Europeans, they started the conquests, slavery, and many war. People will find that insulting, but its true. Of course England is not the only country to have certain defects, but in history England did cause alot trouble, and good things. (In some ways).

The air of England has long been too pure for a slave, and every man is free who breathes it. (See Wikipedia, s.v. "habeas corpus"). And what about the "Magna Charta"?
