The Nazi party was founded in Germany 1919 as the German Workers' Party by Anton Drexler and Hitler, still a coporal in the army, was sent to investigate the new party. He joined the party that September, becoming it's propaganda boss. He became party leader in 1921.

So yes, Hitler was a Nazi

Yes, he was the founder of the Nazi Party.

In 1919, a WWI veteran walked into a local political party called the German Worker's Party (Deutschers Arbeit Partei - the DAP) and became a member. A year later he became the president of the DAP and changed it to the NSDAP (the National Socialist German's Workers Party).

As time progressed and the NSDAP became more influential, that WWI veteran changed the name again to the National Socialist Party (NS Party) or Nazi Party for short. The veteran's name was Adolf Hitler.

Hitler did not found the DAP, but he did change it into the Nazi Party.

Nazi is a political party, that he was the leader of, so of course he was a Nazi.

By the way, they were NOT Fascists, people keep referring to them that way, they were socialists, as in National Socialist Workers Party.

Nearly all of the worst mass murders in the 20th century were socialists, Fascists got a bad rap

OF COURSE, he was a Nazi!! How in the world could he "make" everyone else be a Nazi if he weren't himself? BTW, not everyone was a Nazi in Germany prior to and during WW II.

Chow!!
