I agree with Dr Thin. Plus linguistically, you are wanting "substituiton" rather than "discription" for each word carries its own meaning. therefore "Happiness" is "Happiness" "Love" is love, "Joy" is joy etc etc. and each of these words, though they may or may not be related in our minds, have their own meanings.
Plus to "describe" something properly, you need perspective which requires more than one word to create the depth and breadth of such a generalized word as "happiness."
For instance; I could say "Happiness - Emotion." But that hardly "Describes" happiness. because: "Frustration - Emotion." "Anger - Emotion," etc etc.So more words are needed to describe "happiness." and then, the desription only works for one or perhaps a few unless the perosn is a wirter and can string many words together that creates "Happiness" in a mass of people.
