I'm not familar with any of the books/authors that you mentioned, but I, also, am a fan of psychological thrillers. So, I can recommend a couple of my favorite authors: Frank Peretti and Ted Dekker. To be specific, I'd suggest Peretti's "Veritas" books, Hangman's Curse and Nightmare Academy. If those seem to juvenile to you, try "The Visitation". A nice blend of these two authors is found in their joint project, "House", very very scary (just a warning). For Dekker, you might look at "Blink" or "Thr3e".
Peretti writes more on the scary factor, while Dekker focuses on scarying you psychologically...just to give that tid bit.

I agree with the other answerer that "The Game" is excellent! Another GREAT psychological (and totally surprising) thriller is the film "Identity", w/Ray Liotta, John Cusack.
My all-time favorite psych. thriller book is "The Dark Half", by Stephen King. It's similar to "Secret Window", but with a twist. They made a pretty good film of it too.

I loved Stephen King's The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. Really good, quick read. Lots of psychological components to it, and very suspenseful, but not gross like a lot of his books.

i used to love reading sidney sheldon books. he did one called "in her dreams" that was fantastic. If your looking for a film watch "The Game" with Micheal douglas its getting on a bit now but its a great mind bender with minimum gore.
