It is obvious that existence is not a predicate, for my existence is not the subject that grammarians give their attention. Then "existence is not a predicate" is synonymous to "existence is not a property". Existence is not a property?

Although most undergraduate students whose major is philosophy know "existence is not a property" as a slogan, they don't know why. What if existence is a property?

when i went to the school JRP i learned alot about modeling and acting but they never got me any paying jobs... i know it has a reputation for being a scam and so i am hesitant as to whether or not i should put it on my resume.

I am looking for a painting that shows an old man lighting his pipe.

It shows only his face (I believe he wears a hat and has a long beard) and his match lighting his pipe or maybe a cigar (I'm pretty sure it's a pipe).

The light from his match lights up his face wonderfully.

I googled it with no luck (It is not "Old Man Lighting His Pipe - Gideon" and it is not "Old Man Lighting a Pipe - Gerrit Dou").

If you know it, I'd love to know what it's called. I've been looking for it for years.

It isnt about religion, it is about the end of all that controls us. the tighter we hold on to what we believe, the more that is the one thing that is breaking us apart. The answer I feel is that we must simply believe in our selves. accept and respect those around us that do the same. no one person is better than the other. no one person or group for that matter has the line on what will happen and front row seats to salvation. If you expect or ask the creator for more than the incredible realization of your own exsistance than you are asking for to much and not trying hard enough on your own.
