You need to read between the lines a bit but I think you last idea about exploit their wealth is probably the fly in the ointment that is causing all of the chaos.
I remember from the first days of the Iraq war. The museums were being plundered, the hospitals were being ransacked and some army spokesperson was on TV proudly reporting that 90 percent of the Iraqi oil fields were now being guarded by US. forces.
I think That about sums it up.
Love and blessings Don

The Trojan War was waged, according to legend, against the city of Troy, by the armies of the Achaeans (Mycenaean Greeks), after Paris of Troy stole Helen from her husband Menelaus, king of Sparta. The war lasted ten years and ended when the city of Troy fell to the ruse of the Trojan Horse. The Achaeans mercilessly slaughtered all of the Trojans.
This whole war was all over a woman! I think there will always be wars.

in case you settle for reason, and the international for what that's at face fee, then you definitely do no longer choose this question spoke back. people could nicely be sturdy devoid of God. particularly some Atheists are extra good than some Christians, and that they haven't any classic perception device in any respect. i'm an Atheist who advance into raised Catholic. i do no longer think of I ever fairly believed in God in the 1st place, and the certainty that i will distinguish actual and incorrect, and nevertheless be marveled with the international for what that's, is the main humbling feeling in the international. i do no longer choose God to offer me solutions via fact understanding all the solutions kills the human organisation and human spirit. interest and not understanding what's in it for us is what drives humanity forward. You relish life now for what that's, no longer for what you choose out of it.

when you get a little older, you will come to realize, that as long as there is two people on earth, there will be fighting. there always was, and always will be someone who wants to control or take from others, because it is easier than working to get your own. if you've gone to school, you should have noticed, the bully only picks on the weak.that should be your wake up call to not be the one he singles out. it is no difference in the size of population, on your block,in your city, state, country.
does that answer your question?

In Hindu Scriptures such as the Gita it is said there are wars in heaven just as there are wars on earth! The purpose then is to eventually realize that strife and peace are related and that if you act consistantly with wisdom and compassion then peace will become your war and war will become your peace!

As long as Satan is free to teach the world hatred and other evils, there will be no peace. Satan is stronger now than he ever was but he knows that his time is coming to an end. Then this world as we know it will be gone, and we will have peace and live in a beautiful world. God will be with us.

the thing is, in this day and age we are programmed not to trust anyone. we are primitive and selfish by nature it could be argued. each country is so nationalistic that it simply cannot help any other country unless it helps their own.
how about the phrase "god bless America"?
its never "god bless the world" is what i mean.
war should never be necessary, because we are people, but we have divided ourselves not into communities, but nations.
i hate it.
we should change it.

So many questions-
Can the world live in Peace/
In a perfect world that would be "nice".
Yet human nature is just that!

it isn't practical to ask this question to ordinary citizens like you and i.
it would only do good to ask this question to those in charge of the direction of a country and have them weigh their minds.
obviously, they're going to tell the american [or whatever nationality] people that we need war, war benefits us, war is just, war this and war that.
can we ever be sure of the validity of the motives of war?
btw, i'm only 14, so don't put me down too badly.
