how do people find the meaning of life?

Like some people in the world are trying to find it. lets say you found it could you truely say that is the meaning of life for you. do we ever find the meaning of life. or do we act like we know what it is but is still looking. Does some one know the meaning to life. If some one does then why have they not told any one.

It is an ongoing search. my friend- and you are the only one who will know the answer to THIS --YOUR question. The meaning of life is one of the most broad huge popular questions that many many many people ask. You are not alone on your task. This may sound cliche' or whatever--- but it is all about your dreams and goals and how u see yourself in the future. The meaning of life: hmmmm.... to live , experience, to learn, to accept, to love all, to become one with nature, the world, your soulmate, to make a difference in this lifetime , to try and do everything you have always dreamed off since you were small---- To grow up learn teach fall in love marry make babies out of love watch them grow (they are afterall 1/2 u and your mates :0) fun, to enjoy life and its mysteries.... the meaning of life is what you make it and what you wish it to be- with work your meaning of life could be all of your dreams coming true. This may sound broad, but i believe you are an example a creation if u will of one part of your parents quest of and to the meaing of life and you are the only one who can further your perception of this life and make an impact upon others--- we create our own world and thus have control over what we see as the meaning of life.... You got it man....you cant search for it around the globe or in books b/c I believe that we all have the meaning of life "the way we see it or hope to be able to see it in the future" within ourselves. LIFE IS GOOD AND ENJOY IT AND ALL THE MEANINGS OF LIFE ARE SURE TO COME TO YOU! i promise ;0) Deep down in our souls it is already written , like DNA, we are programed and your body knows what its meaning of life is- andyou can feel it....it is the things you want to do and dont b/c your afraid or other influence you not to go this or that route--- EVERY MAN HAS A RIGHT TO HIS OWN DESTINY--- its the adventure that tells all. Everyone has there own "meaning of life". I think people find their meaning of life during a life changing experience. Some people find their meaning of life when they get married. They can feel like their meaning of life is to be married to that person. Some people find their meaning of life when they become a parent. They can feel like their meaning of life was to become a parent to their child. People find it in situation's that change their life.

Yes I think that life for repeat offenders is good.I mean cause most of these murders could have been prevented if the killers would have stayed in jail. I can relate to the victims families. My friend was killed in 1997 and they have no leads.An I know sometimes the jury lets them off but come on if the guy or girl killed more than once you know hes going to do it again.

no one would listen and believe. would you believe if i tell you that the meaning of life is making a difference on someone else's life? that a smile from a tired wrinkled rugged face that is starving, when you give them food is felt in the heart? would you believe me? people are so attached in material things and in what the world can offer that they can't comprehend this simple but wonderful things in life.

we have been told time and time again but no one listen for their own selfish reasons. will you spare a dollar to buy food for the hungry?

different people's lives have different meaning to them. simple. you cant say you truly found the meaning of life because noone exactly knows EVERYTHING about life anyways, the only way you can find the meaning is if you know everything, and noone knows everything so the meaning is pointless

Yes, I have found the meaning of Life. It is for everyone but sad to say not all will find it.
For over half of my life I thought I was living the life the way I wanted it, and at the end I would die and thought I would go to heaven as my mother had. Well in a matter of about 3 years I lost my health, job and marriage. A women invited me to a meeting where I heard the message preached from the Holy Bible, and do you know it was just for me.....The word was Jesus speaking " Come unto me, all you that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart; and you shall find rest;unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden light." Wow! I sure was heavy laden, and I thought if this Jesus can do what you say, I want everything He has for me, and I received Him into my life. I started going to church as I had such a hunger to learn this new way of living., and reading the bible to learn about this Jesus who died for my sins so I could be brought back into fellowship with my creator.

I quickly learned as God gives us the understanding as we read and pray there are two life styles. He created all things in the begining and then when Adam and Eve sinned that broke the fellowship with our creator God. God is a Holy God and no sin in Him. From that time until He sent Jesus to die for our sins (if we except Him into our lives) everyone was born in sin, and there was a void (vacant spot in our Spirit) and a searching, searching, searching, and nothing fulfills it until we we admit that we are sinners and repent (turn from ) sinning and receive Jesus as our Lord and Saviour. Then we attend churches where Jesus is preached and we read the Bible and grow in our new life, and we are back in fellowship with our Heavenly Father, who loved us so much that He sent Jesus to die for the sins of the world to get us back in the family of God.

Now to answer your last question....why hasn't anyone told anybody, Well my friend You have just been told, and that is the Truth. Jesus also said, You will know the truth and the truth will make you free. I am FREE There is no more void or searching, I have found the meaning of life and for almost 34 years now and I know I am going to heaven as Jesus is the door.

I feel the meaning of life is to keep growing. The only real thing in life is change and we have to keep growing so we don't stagnate. We also need to love unconditionally and have peace in our hearts.
