A meeting: where every moment does bring me closer to the morrow, to greet the new day. can this be known by watching the sands of life sifting through the hours glass, can regrets be changed before the step is made,, in learning, I am not alone, for there is the answer to greet me. what draws me near to thee, my life does seek out love.

I believe so. Definitely! The time u spent in the past with certain someones that ultimately forms you in so many ways- (the past moments have made a very deep impression on you), which in turn "to me" alters the future regardless.-- The past and present can coexist normally together amoungst people that share those moments and times together and if these people end up being with each other for a while --into the future then Definitley the future and past will come together and this person or persons will have the greatest times and the worst of times of past present and future, NOw that to me woudl be the best time spent- Also yeah this is true ,,, older people do it all the time by comparing wars, presidents, howtheir sons and daughters have changed and the economy as well. My friend , your best bet would be to talk to an elder of yours that you trust-- I guarantee that he /she will have profound answers for you that I cannot provide-- good luck and please check out the advice on asking this particular question to an elderly person--- They never lie! Ha..... good luck , Toodles, allison

The Buddhist doctrines and sutras suggest that all concepts of time are illusionary constructs. Every moment of your realization is replete with elements of past present and future.
How many times have you been awaken to a different understanding of something that happened before that realization! How many times have you used your own wisdom and insight to manipulate or control something that was yet to happen. How many times has the present been a mere reflection in the mirror?

The future hasn't happened yet, only the present happens. The past is gone, the future is yet to be here, only the present matters. We live in this tiny fleeting moment for all eternity. Get used to it.

if you came from trafalmadore, you might see time as you see the rocky mountains.
a stretch of moments displayed out in front of you existing all at once.
you should read slaughterhouse-five by Kurt Vonnegut, if you haven't already. besides an amazing interpretation of humanity and war, the ideas offered about time are amazing.
so yeah, i suppose.
