Basically do people native to areas that were formerly long standing historic nations, and peoples prior to World War I and various other historical events in what is today the Czech Republic, Spain, Italy, France, Switzerland, Germany, and other areas consider themselves separate and unique peoples still?

For instance many of these were formerly long-standing countries in which they considered themselves separate peoples. One example comes to mind is the Kingdom of Navarre though that is VERY far back, more recent probably is Bohemia which is a historically separate region and I am sure there are several other good examples (Like the many nations that ended up in the USSR)

Hi everyone great news after nights of searching I have finally found the perfect site for large wallpapers on games.

So I have wallpapers of Halo 3 and Guild wars of a resolution of 1920*1200, holy crap !!!!

This is a tiny bit more than 1080p. This is beyond HD. well a very little. about 200 pixels.

So I am so excited I am going to the print shop today and get my posters printed finally!!!

But am what I wanted to know is what is the largest poster that I can print with this resolution without loosing the quality. meaning without getting blocky/pixalated.?

I am looking at about a 36*50" poster.
can I print at this size and still retain perfect quality or should I opt for 18*24"?

is there another size I can print?

Please tell me people what is the largest size I can print and not loose quality?

All this 'found-object' art, white rooms with lights going on and off and boxes of fog, what is this all about? When do these everyday things become art? Is it just artists loosening their bowels and giving us a modern version of the 'Emperors New Clothes' or am I missing something? Some of this new stuff isnt even thought provoking! That is bad.
Also, all these artists seem to have a history of mental illness, or even play on a documented case of 'Bi-polar' or OCD or something or other. Is this just attention seeking or does it make them a better artist?

Altruism and other cooperative behaviors of living beings clearly reveal that the theory of evolution is invalid. The actual reason for this is natural selection, the mechanism upon which Darwin based this theory. According to this mechanism, those living things that are better adapted to their habitat will survive, whereas those that are unfit and weak will be eliminated. Thus there is no room for cooperation, only competition between organisms. However, we see that nature is not an environment in which only the strong survives and where a merciless struggle for existence continues.
All living beings hunt in order to survive, and fight to protect themselves. Apart from this, however, many organisms also practice unselfish concern to protect their offspring or risk their own lives for the safety of the larger population. Nature provides us with many examples of different species defending the interests of each other.

I build a house on a vancant street and was happy to live alone. A jewish man came to live on my street. He ask what religon did i practice, i replied none, so he built his house across the street and refuse to let his kids play with mines. A muslim man came to live on my street. He ask what religion did i practice, i replied none, so he built his house on the east of mine, turned his back and prayed every morning. Next a group of Christians came to live on my street. Seeing that there were only three houses on the street they felt that they had discovered a new street. And even gave the street a name. They came to each house and asked the occupants what religion did they practice? They first tried to convert all of us, but we all refused, so they stoned us to death, burned down our houses and declared us the greatest evil in the world, all in the name of their G.O.D. Do you know who "I" am?

I'm a psychology major, but recently I've been thinking it's not quite for me. I'm a huge television and movie fan (more television). Because it takes up so much of my time hobby wise I was thinking I should get into the field. I don't want to be on screen or anything. I don't think I'm creative enough to be a script writer either. So my question is... what? I'm not that good with technical things. So no like lighting camera or sound. What does a producer do? What other jobs are in the field? Does anyone know any good sites or information that might be helpful? Thank you.
