enki i believe that those on the same level i.e. all humans are responsible for THEMSELVES. but saving mother earth & all its glorious creatures is our collective responsibility.
if we were at a lower level to these 'aliens' & if they are 'good' they will feel responsible towards us...if they are like us humans then they will only think about themselves & how best to cook & eat us as we do to the animals :)

I loved your question plenty. Makes me imagine. it truly is too undesirable, all we are able to do is speculate. If the earth is well-known with, she could observe in a fashion that we gained't understand. might want to or not it truly is that she's the only responsible, and she or he has been this entire time? possibly she led us to "pollute" the earth? i have continuously considered the idea that possibly we're not rather destroying the earth. What if we are coming up those form of unusual new supplies, that would want to finally help existence to evolve. supplies to act as a catalyst. imagine about what existence varieties may stay the following in 20,000 years! The reliable, and maximum adaptable creatures will live to inform the tale, yet they're going to surely live to inform the tale in a mode overseas to how we presently recognize them. How might want to we ever totally comprehend information? we are able to attempt to comprehend our own information. we are able to evaluate how different creatures are conscious. How does a bumble bee adventure the international? And a kangaroo? And a blue whale, and what about micro organism and bats and butterflys? some creatures comprehend each thing to be vibrations, others see colours we gained't, nevertheless others use sound to visualise the international. Is the earth conscious? may be.

We have responsibility to the extent that we can effect other living creatures - and the
earth ecology on which all life depends. The responsibility is created by the same consciousness, awareness, that makes us capable of enormous effect. I would expect this same responsibility to apply to any equally or more "advanced" alien civilisation that might bump into us. But I would not expect those aliens to acquit themselves of that responsibility of care towards us, any better than we extend it to others - including other humans, other creatures, and Earth. I'd guess they might exploit "the natives" if they could, just as we do, and treat Earth as their own colonial playground or a mine for resources. Oh Gosh - if only we could see OURSELVES as Aliens!

My personal belief is that we have developed the technology which i destroying all the life on this world . That makes us responsible for caring for what is left . If an Advanced Alien species technology somehow began to kill less Advanced life I believe they should be responsible for repairing the damage that they have done . We are a civilization and it is the civilized thing to do .

We do have responsibility over other living creatures on Earth, and we should take this as seriously as we can. As far as advanced Alien civilizations go, they probably exist, but would choose not to interfer with our planet. Don't count on them to save us from our own self-destructive ways. We need to take responsibility for ourselves.

It's difficult to define "advanced." WE think we're advanced, but we're destroying the very earth we live on (oh never mind those who say it's all a conspiracy, it's the TRUTH), we still abuse "animals" & God knows how many are extinct because of us. Our dependency on our environment is much ignored. There's no mandate to be responsible. That comes from within. I see more & more greed, indifference, disregard. Perhaps the aliens may have gone way beyond us, & don't even know the meaning of responsibility, or compassion. I suspect no one SHOULD feel anything; they do or they don't.

Hi. If we are the most intellectually dominate and advanced species of all life on Earth then yes we should be responsible for all subordinate creatures .
And yes, a more advanced civilization should be responsible for us because that is the chain of events no matter how much we dislike the idea.(just ask some of our animals how they feel)

Only if you were Noah.
You'd think God would too, but he seems to be like the child that never fed his pets. He even got Noah to do it for him. Kind of like Tom Sawyer getting his friends to paint the fence for him.
There's a lot of assumptions in your question. 'Should', 'Advanced', 'Humans are the less advanced'. If we assume we are less advanced, then how can we justify the right to say a 'more advanced civilization' 'Should' do something. If we accept they are more advanced, perhaps we should accept they know what they're doing? We assume God is more advanced, but look how he is always trying to get out of his responsibilities. Is he right or are we right? Maybe, by asking this question, humans are really more advanced than God?

Yes we do, but only because most of our "human" activities are so highly habitat-destroying and otherwise environmentally invasive/destructive. But to answer the second part of your question: No, an Alien Race/Civilization (assuming they are intellectually and technologically more advanced than humans) will NOT be responsible for us, unless their "Alien" activities somehow manage to adversely influence our natural human time-line and galactic environment.
Remember the Star Trek Prime Directive:
"As the right of each sentient species to live in accordance with its normal cultural evolution is considered sacred, no Star Fleet personnel may interfere with the healthy development of alien life and culture. Such interference includes the introduction of superior knowledge, strength, or technology to a world whose society is incapable of handling such advantages wisely. Star Fleet personnel may not violate this Prime Directive, even to save their lives and/or their ship unless they are acting to right an earlier violation or an accidental contamination of said culture. This directive takes precedence over any and all other considerations, and carries with it the highest moral obligation." ... LOL :-)

At that point, it all becomes a stero type. We can say that we have a responsibility to help the poor. But who is poor? One person might be poor but rich in spirit. Another person might be rich but poor in self esteem. Who is the real poor person? As for world conflicts, how can anybody learn life lessons if they are handed prosperity on a silver platter? Just as your picture shows, the tides are allowed to bombard the shoreline all day and night, hardening the shore until it seems like one unified chunk of sand. Nature may not have a reason for its actions or a destination in mind, but there is a reason for everything and always a thought to consider.
