I think that 90% of the problems in the world are caused by people getting all up tight over something that happened thousands of years ago. Things that they can do nothing about.
Historians wrote what they were paid to write. They changed facts, and very important dates.
If we just erased all past history, and quit teaching history we would be a lot better off.
It is said that we learn by our mistakes. Give me an example in world "history".

My girlfriend is really interested in photography--she's always taking pictures when we go on road trips, but she doesn't necessarily have the technical eye or know-how when it comes to knowing what makes a well-composed shot or, for that matter, what makes a good subject. Does anyone recommend a book that a starting photographer HAS to read to get started and get a good boost on taking good pictures? (if it matters, she's currently shooting with a Konica-Minolta Dimage Z6)

I read somewhere that her full name is Anita Plath Helle, and I have been looking all over for information of how, if at all, she is related to the poet Sylvia Plath? Sylvia is by far my favorite female writer and I am an avid reader of all information about her and when I found out about the new book that came out in 2/07 I was/am at my wits end to find out if the author is any relation to Sylvia. I thought perhaps she is the daughter of Warren, Sylvia's younger brother, but I cannot find any info one way of another????? I know it may seem lame but I really would love to know? Is there anyone out there that can help me? If you can please tell me where and how you found out the info? Thank you!
