That's hard because most romance books are written for older people. There is one book I know for that you might like It's call "The Wind Blows Backwards" by Mary Downing Hahn. If you are 18 then you should try reading Julie Garwood. Sorry I couldn't help more.

It might not be your typical romance book but my recommendation would be "Wasteland" by Francesca Lia Block. It's a beautifully written love story, short and sweet and painful. I loved it so much I ended up buying a copy to keep.

twilight is a good fantasy book for yonger people but if your looking for more real life fiction try anything by sarah dessen
or you can try anything by curtis sitenfeld she is not exactly happy romance but her books are really really good.

I read Jane Erye by Charlotte Bronte. I loved it and I recommend it to anyone.

TWILIGHT BY STEPHENIE MEYER!!!!!! READ IT TRUST ME YOU'LL LOVE IT!!!! pretty much everyone I know has read it and they all loved it!!!
also there's Annie Between the States by L.M. Elliott

and pretty much anything by Nicholas Sparks

read the dirk pitt series by clive cussler...

less romance, but its still a great read
