I'm currently stuck on my ideas.
I
'm trying to find some examples (be it a book, movie, etc.) of where the story in the Book of Ruth has been the base of the story.

Example of what I'm talking about: Othello by Shakespeare there's a movie from a few years back that follows the same general storyline.

I've already read the story and I've already tried coming up with ideas of my own but nothing I think of really works. If anyone could help steer me in a good direction 'd appreciate it dearly.

I am writing a book, but I've barely started, and I have writers block. What is a good way to start the book (i.e. a first sentence)? There's this guy running through the woods. I don't know if I should start off with just action or what, but I want it to be exciting.

okay well i need help writing one of my poems i really dont know what to do so here is the things it has to have (if u dont get it just ask and i will explain):

Need 8-10 lines
Has to have a pattern

I would perferablly like to have the first and third line rhyme and than the third line doesnt but idk! here is some of my brainstorming:

sticks out like a sore thumb
girly looking

taught me everything i know
mainly raised me
always makes me laugh
not the best role model

piercings
goatee
long black hair
a yellow tulip in a field of rocks
appearances may be misleading
a listening ear in the time of need


umm... u dont have to write the whole poem just give me some ideas to help start it or end it....plz i cant think of any ideas

I am going to Wicked the play over memorial day weekend. I was wonder. A) What kind of clothing should i wear. It's my parents and grandmother that are coming with. and we do own dress clothes B) How early should we arrive before the preformance?

I don't know what to do, i am running out of patient. I want to be an actor so bad. i dream, drunk, sleep, eat, live acting. Everyday i act but there's a problem. I think because i am kind of chubby that will be a problem, but i think if i lose the weight i can make it. I take acting classes which i don't need because i am good but i need to do something that i can help me really acheive my dreams. Do you know any free acting classes, addition,website i can go to to teach me more about acting, anything? i just need to achieve. Do you think size matter because i can control it. I don't know what to do because i am running out of ideas, i need to be discover, anyone if you are a actor, producer, anyone who have a contact with poeple in that business please help me out because i am depress. I also think i can't make it because i live in Brooklyn but i go to shcool in manhatten but there still no acting there too? Do you think i will ever be an actorrrrrrrr?

okay, i am going to participate in a photo contest, and we have to take the pictures acording to the theme "the desert blooms"... any ideas about what the heck that means???? i personally think= the desert is a booring, bland, hot, no-one-wants-to-be place... and when it so-called "blooms", its sort of showing the desert's other side, its beautiful, interesting, and colorful side... but i dont know if im headed in the right direction of though... can someone lead me another path of thinking??? or at least throw me a couple ideas?? that you SOOO much, i really do appriciate it!

Is there a way to write a book taking place in an earlier time period without having to know the exact language of that time period????

I like to write. I write short stories mostly, but now i want to write a short book. Im fascinated with the past and would like to bring that about in my book without being familiar with the language of say --1700's.
