I went to see Wicked about a month ago, and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! Here are some things that I would suggest:

I would wear a fairly dressy outfit. You do not need to be decked out in a ball gown, but I would not wear jeans to the theater. A skirt or some dress pants would do nicely.

If you plan on purchasing any sort of shirts, programs, or souvenirs, do so before the show starts. The lines get extremely long after the show and during intermission. As do the restroom lines.

If you meet the cast afterward, which I was fortunate enough to do, you can see them as they come out the stage exit door at the back of the building. do this right after the show ends, as it can get rather crowded at the doors if you wait. They are usually happy to sign autographs and take pictures.

In my personal opinion, I think that being familiar with the music enhanced spectacularly of the show. It made me appreciate it more.

Make sure that you get there early enough to get good parking spaces. Spaces near the theatre can be hard to get up to even 30 minutes before the start of the show, and this too can get crowded. I would arrive at the theatre maybe an hour or so before the curtain goes up.

I hope you love the show!
