im trying to paint this picture in three different sections, but i want an oil / watercolored look. do you have an idea as to how i can do this??

Well, the obvious answer is to use watercolors or oil paint.
If you want three sections, then use masking tape to mark off the sections so the line is crisp.
How are you going to make the thing if you want the look and arn't using the materials.

I do a lot of work with oil paint and i also like to look of water color , but oil gives you more give and time to go back into it and layer your work, what i usually do to achieve the water color look is, I buy WATER SOLUBLE oil paints and water them down to the consistancy of water color paints, this way i have the look of watercolor but the give of oil paint!
to seperate the different sections you should go to your local art supply store and buy artist tape which comes in different widths so you can pick how wide you want your borders..hope that helps
