I just got this camera and live in the extreme North. While triing to Photograph the lights the camera doesn't seem to be able to focus. I've set the camera to M, however even with the apparture and shutter setting it still seems to be attempting to focus on a single target. I have a remote and tripod and want to get a long exposure picture like with my old 35 but I can't find a setting that will let me open the shutter manually The booklet with the camera doesn't seem to have much more to offer. The other problem is at -45 I can't sit out there for 40 minutes playing with settings triing to get the thing to work.

I need to find a poem from the 17th century (1600s), or the very early 1700s (only up to about 1713).
I'm writing a book, and wanted to add a poem in with it. I want something about either a loss of parents, anger, finally finding content or peace, or going to sail.
Can anyone help me?

Steven Wynn is suing the London Insurance Agency, Lloyds on account that they allegedly failed to act properly on his demands to pay him $54 million dollars in lost value for the famous Picasso the Dream oil painting.
I think that Wynn should donate any money he gets from this law suit and give it to some art school or some noble cause, after all he did damage a true work of art. What do you think?

What is required to be considered human? Do we merely draw the line on visual inspection? Is it the ability to communicate? Is it a level of intelligence? What defines being "human" to you? Please consider that if you are not careful, your answer may include other creatures that you might not intend, which is fine. Thank you for your input.

I have a signed print of "Just what is it that makes today's homes so different?", limited edition of 5000, and was wondering what it would sell for. It's the 1993 one, not his first! Thanks.
