Hunter is a good name. Though while it may seem like a character that should be bad, so long as you don't put "The Hunter" you'll be fine. And, if you so choose, you can have the character reacting against his name sake, trying to save people and animals instead of harming them... its a broad area to explore.

hunter means you're on the prowl wether you say the or not-no it's no good for an upstanding type character
