They basically offered me a contract on the basis of an outline and some sample chapters i sent them. I have now sent them the complete manuscript and received an email telling me that they were going to get back to me in a few days with some feedback.

As this is my first book, I'm a bit concerned. Do publishing companies normally ask you to make loads of changes to a manuscript after you've handed it in or do they normally just publish it as it is? Can they get me to re-write the whole book?

Maybe I'm just being overly sensitive.....

Would this help? I start at low C and I go up as high as I can to a middle F, while trying to match the pitch. And I do that 123 thing (CEG, DFA,EGB). I practice for about 20 minutes. Is that enough? Will it make me have a stronger voiee or are there other exercises? I would ask my vocal teacher but she is out for all of January and Febuary.

I have a Canon sd800is. When set to maximum mega-pixels and on superfine quality, the photos a are 4000-5000 kb each. This makes it hard to upload and send (takes forever per photo). Does te max setting just give you a larger photo of the same quality if you set it on a lower setting, say 600x800 (medium low setting)?
Also, I have read or heard that the larger the file size, the more chances of getting compression noise in the photos if reduced to a smaller size printed photo? Help! Thank you!
