Well we've settled down and settled for less. What happened to the passion, the rage, the couldn't care less?
What makes us do it, to lock ourselves in and throw away the key?Are voluntary inmates? Do we do it instinctively?
Do we do it for our children? We certainly don't do it for ourselves. Do we do it to pay the mortgage? Or is it better not to delve?
Do we know where we're going? Do we remember where we've been?We tell ourselves that we care but do we say what we mean? And come those terrible moments, when it's too much to bear,We look to numb all, to paralyse it, pretend it's not there. But there it is and there it will stay and as a bird caged from birth afraid to fly free,We remain in our self made cell, looking out, afraid to stray. But do we tell other people how we feel? We do not.Do they reveal their pain to us? Do they rot! But comes a time when we must lay all this to rest. To convince ourselves ourselves what we have is what we want And not want what we know is best

Hope is slow energy, but sure motivation! It's Hope, some form of hope, that's behind all that you say here! It's never too much to bear, at least not yet! Because there is some hope left still! That then is the whole essence of Philosophy driving us through the maze of times, through the wheel of ages! Seek within in your quiet, private moments, all answers are there: maybe, we don't share the answers with ourselves individually, between the 'higher self' in us and the 'child' in us and the 'real self', the co-ordinator! For, the communication within is imperfect, incomplete!

Thank you for telling us what is in your heart.
It was a wonderful way for a brand new start...reading and answering people who I don't know across the the ocean far away...sometimes not knowing what to say

I often wonder what's on their minds is it about the food they eat or the most recent crime?
The day has a way of passing fast....we wonder at times will it be our last? Will I live to be the age of ninety two..or go before ...and shut the door.... not live to see what happens in 2012...when all hell is supposed to break lose on earth and in space.....or will I be ashes on a shelf..in an urn whose concern.....

Rhyming is timing and bringing things to light....talking about fighting and loving or the dark of night....In closing I'm going ...it's 6 on the dot....time to make coffee ...and grits in the pot.

The sun has not risen.....it's cold and it's dark....it was great fun answering your question...and we are not done, lets keep this going and have lots of fun. I wish you the best in whatever you do don't stop telling your view and your news it's becoming to you..

Great!!

My take is as follows

To know and accept that we can't have everything is wisdom.

Indeed wisdom lies in limitation rather than in freedom.

Wisdom bends and binds us in order to free our spirits to dwell in the world of happiness.
