Sandy is a quiet young girl, whos always writing. The police found her dead in the pool, know one knows how she got there. seven years after her death a girl named Whitney moves into her house. and is seeing things , or at least she thinks she is. listen whitney; sandy is trying to tell you the truth. the cold dead truth.

Write the story. Full speed ahead, but be prepared to work hard. The story idea is the easy part. Flesh out the characters, build suspense, irony, adventure, and keep it moving...those are much more challenging. Work on dialog, experiment with different voices. Make the characters so real you know them better that your best friend. Real people are both good and bad. Real people have emotions, and the reader must feel them intimately. If you can do this, you are well on your way to a good story.
Be prepared for the story to take on it's own life, and then let it go where it must. Be surprised. Make you self laugh and cry with the characters.
Before you publish get a really good proof reader and editor. Practice good grammar, spelling, and punctuation in your everyday writing.

That would make a great story, especially if Whitney found Sandy's writings that helpsolve the mystery.

Cool! I write myself, and this sounds like a good plot line! If you have the ambition to write it, then go for it! I would probably turn it into a horror book myself, you know, vampires etc., but you can do so much with it. It could be plain mystery, romance, horror, a little science fiction and fantasy... she could be murdered in a different land, or attacked by a zealous lover... Heck, have fun with it.. It's whatever you decide!

go with it but it has been done, maby the things she is seeing are things that the killer ( the nice next door nieghbour) is making her beileve she is seeing in order to scare her and kidnapp her where she finds out that sandy is still alive and in the basement................
