I've practiced now for about six months straight and I've hit a plateau and can't seem to get better. It seems like my biggest problem is with my picking hand. And sometimes my fretting hand works real well but on other days I have trouble stretching the fingers far enough. I'd be grateful for any tips to speed up my progress. I currently practice between two to six hours per day.

This passion within me
Like a fire
Burning so intensely.
That, I am proud of
But others think not.

The same flame
Too scorching and bright
A threat to some
While others took flight.
For it shines bright
Showing what’s wrong and what’s right.
And a light
To illuminate the darken path
For those who ask.

I never understand how what I have
Can be loved and hated
At the same time.
Should I perhaps change?
Think not!
What a shame it’ll be
I am not what I am
And that you’ll be glad
But I’ll be sad.

The fire in me
Let it be.
Love me, shun me
It is here to stay!

Just sitting outside alone and looking at the stars and the moon... Or looking at the shadows or trees... that looks like shadows waving in the wind. Feeling the wind against your face...

To me it seems so peaceful. Does anyone else feel like this?

I'm going to the public library tomorrow, and I usually come up with a list of books, so I can just go & breeze through, and pick the books I know I want.

So, does anyone have good ones?

I love genres like realistic fiction, suspense.

But mostly, stuff like daily high school life, drug addictions, books like Cut.

I'd appreciate the help. :]

I am not good at devoting myself to a bunch of things. I either want to be a painter, a rock star or a writer. I am currently spreading my time out among the three. Which do you think would be the best to pursue? (I asked this in philosophy because I wanted a thoughtful, non-biased answer from a philosopher or someone wise at least)

they are usually three colours - a colour, black & white, they are long and start with birds which as you look across the gaps between them turn into insect shapes and the birds disappear, the gaps between the insect pictures turn into somthing else and so on. i'm not explaining it very clearly i know, it's hard.

It tells us how we should dress, how we should act, how we should resolve our problems. We religiously watch our shows once a week, and the characters and their lives are more real to us than any myth or biblical tale ever was. It provides us with a sense of comfort and knowledge of another world which might not exist, but could and is real to us. It fills that void in our lives that used to be filled by religion, and reaches out to everybody--most of whom embrace it willingly. Even the most logical of athiests suspends their disbelief when watching dragons attack on the sci-fi channel, and the most devout of christians watch their religion channels with as much fervor. Television brings all faiths together, and keeps us all connected by that mesmeric glare of a cathode ray tube. The televisionists comprise the largest congregation in the whole world, and no other religion can compare to its numbers

I am trying to find sites on the web that describe each medal, what it was issued for and what the attached devices, such as the bronze stars, bronze arrow head and so forth, mean. Is there an order that they should be worn in? My primary focus is on the European theater of operations and specifically the 101st Airborne from Normandy on.
