Hello, my English teacher told my class to make collages that describe us. We can use hand-drawn pictures, photographs, computer-generated images, symbols, magazine pictures, cut out words, etc. I seem pretty shy and quiet, as people tell me. But I think I am loud and sort of annoying sometimes to people I know well. Do you have any ideas how to represent my personality?

I was born, and have always lived in United States, yet I spell both the art form and the building "theatre" while everyone I know (from the states) spells it "theater" (and still others spell the art "theatre" and the building "theater" etc.) Is there a correct spelling? Will people assume I'm British if I spell it "re"? Does anyone know the history or reason for the different spellings?

I'm a junior in college and have been slightly depressed lately. I have been seriously considering leaving college to work with my family's business. After long conversations and crying with my mom she says that she will support me no matter what i do so long as it makes me happy. Only problem is that i have no clue what makes me happy. The last time i truly remember being happy was when i was 7 and living in Machias with my mom and 3 sisters and having the rest of my family living on my street. (we were really close). Now I find myself completely disappointed with my life. Everyone has grown and moved including myself. I am so unhappy with what i'm doing right now But college is something that you need to do if you want to do anything with my life...which is my family's basic view. I just don't know what to do. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on my current problem. Thank you so much for your responses.
