Except that life expectancy has doubled with the advent of modern medicine and science. To revert back to faith healing, superstition and herbs would be a step backward. Remember, many of modern medicines had their start as native herbs...

Food fads are eternal and pure poison.
Fish is considered to be food for the brain, and thoughts are engendered by the brain so... Bring on the fish.
That'll be smoked salmon to start with, followed by a tuna steak.
Never was keen on desserts.

We just reviewed this in our Nursing class. We are going back to natural wholistic healing and realizing that modern medicine isn't always effective.
