Try www.photo.net

It is an online community of professional and amateur photographers. You can post your photos and request critiquest. You can set copyright information as well. It is a great site with a wealth of information.

There is no way of preventing people from stealing your photos, if they can see it on screen they can simply press print screen.

So you can only look for deterents such as embedding a visible watermark or embedding a digital watermark that will prove the picture is yours.. see http://www.digimarc.com/comm/images.asp

However this is expensive and really only for pros.

I have started http://www.freewebphoto.com because I'm fed up of people "stealing" my pics, designers won't use the pics for commercial use and If people want to use them on thier websites then I'm flattered

cheers

there are tons of sites out there, and most don't inhibit the right-click button, so people can save a picture. You can resize your pictures down so they look good on the screen but are pretty useless otherwise, like 640x480 or 800x600. Also, if you don't want everybody looking at your pictures (only the people you choose to see them) mark your albums as "private". This way, you can send out invitations to a select group of people. I know that webshots does this, but I'm not sure about the rest.

http://photobucket.com/ and http://www.flickr.com/ are popular ones.
But no site can guarantee that people won't save you work. You can disable the right mouse button with some java script, but anything you can see on a screen, you can save with the PrintScrn button.
If you're paranoid about it, save your pictures at just 600x800 pixels and use an image editor to plaster your name across the images in a raised, 'transparent' font.
