If you've ever flipped through a high school textbook, you've probably noticed something odd about the pictures plastered throughout it. For what reason do all the pictures depict odd-looking, strangely dressed people? It's not even the decade the book was printed in that's the issue - the people are downright odd. From their facial expressions to their posture, the people depicted in textbooks are exceedingly strange. Why?

when i am singin my scales..normal voice=low A for bass below middle C up to a middle E and sometimes an F, then i flip usually at the E and go up to a high F above middle C in soprano notes and sometimes an A..used to be a C!!(two actaves above middle C)and then i could go down to a G below middle C in flasesetto..but my old voice teacher said that i could hit the middle E dead on in my normal AND falsetto voices and said that that was rare and makes it hard to transition....which it does cuz i dont know if i should sing the E in my normal voice or in my head voice? and how do u flip smoothly or so its "unnoticeable" that u did flip and make the transtition to flasetto? so, through my range of notes in my two voices where woudl be a good time to flip?ive been practicin for sum time now to make the flip smooth but i cant get it...adn dont know where lol....any suggestions? so to anyone who understands what i am tryign to et at please do your best to help me!!! thanks!!!

My mother's Lebanese. My father's 1/4 Irish, 1/4 English, and 1/2 Armenian, rendering me a stew of heritages ( a rather delicious stew). Would you say I'm basically "white" or what? My name and apperance suggest not: "James Murphy". I hope that didn't just give a stalker the crucial clue. Anyone answering a "mutt" themself?

I’m just astonished. A girl told me (without knowing a bit from each other) that my eyes reflected happiness and liberation. She argued eyes really reflect what’s inside our souls, but I have still some doubts. Do you think this is really possible?

I'm just curious to know your feelings about Poetry. I'd like to know what the readers of Poetry want to see more of and what they would like to see less of.
