My mother's Lebanese. My father's 1/4 Irish, 1/4 English, and 1/2 Armenian, rendering me a stew of heritages ( a rather delicious stew). Would you say I'm basically "white" or what? My name and apperance suggest not: "James Murphy". I hope that didn't just give a stalker the crucial clue. Anyone answering a "mutt" themself?

Sounds like you USDA prime cut American Mutt to me baby!
I'm proud mutt too.
1/2 Irish, 1/4 English, 1/4 Apache So would you expect a short, white round blue eyed chick... NO! My mom is 6' my brother is 6'3" and both dark brown and very Indian looking. ME Nothing but a bad temper when I drink and the ability to roast my skin with just a car window down! Thank God I did get the cooking from my Irish side, of course you better be hungary, I married an Italian mutt.

Hey we have similar heritage, sort of. I am 1/4 Lebanese, 1/4 El Salvadoran, 1/4 English and 1/4 Basque. I'm white, not even very dark. I would consider you a mutt, and more "diverse" than the average American, because Lebanese and Armenian are not as common as most European ethnicities for Americans.

I'm Chinese, Irish, German, and a lot of other stuff. I actually have called myself a mutt at times. Personally, I think it's a great term to describe myself simply when others ask what nationality I am. Be proud of your mixed heritage!

I'm a mutt. My paternal grandfather was white irish, my paternal grandmother was 1/2 white/ 1/2 native american. My maternal grandfather was black and my maternal grandmother was 1/2 black, 1/2 native american. But everyone except my Irish grandpa was Bahamian. So I just say I'm mixed black.white.native american.

You know I have been calling myself a mutt for years. I dont know my mom's dad and her mom and stepdad died before I was born. I thought I knew my dad's fathers side of the family because my grandpa told my dad he got drunk cheated on my grandma and the other woman had my dad and he took him home to my gma and they raised him. I find out later that he was illegally adopted (his mom abandoned him and they took him in) They even had a fake birth certificate made. soooooo...I'm a mutt. No clue who my family is.
