Do eyes really reflect your inner soul?

I’m just astonished. A girl told me (without knowing a bit from each other) that my eyes reflected happiness and liberation. She argued eyes really reflect what’s inside our souls, but I have still some doubts. Do you think this is really possible?

Maybe but I have never tried looking to any person eyes just to judge his or her personalities and whats inside them... in the common sense you can really see people who are happy and sad, or tired,,but deeper than that its hard to really see who the person are.. it takes for me to know person before i got to know them... but i believe there are people who can really see our characters through the eyes maybe theyre the one who are gifted,,but in some sense its true that eyes really reflect inner soul.

I guess, when we have emotions of joy, sadness, despair, anger, etc it does reflect in our eyes.
Although personally, I feel that the facial expression is more "telling" than the eyes but that's just me.
The same way, a person can tell if the other is bored/ happy just by the sound of their voice over the telephone.

I'm not sure eyes reflect your inner soul per say, but they can help tell if someone is being sincere or lying about something. But usually, it takes the whole face to tell those kinda things.

I think it is definitely possible, as long as you are able to take the time to really look. When I am sad, my fiance and anyone else can tell without even talking to me by looking in my eyes. The same goes for other emotions. When it came to my ex husband, I had a super hard time telling what was going on with him because he really knows how to hide things and lie. My fiance is the total opposite, up front with his feelings, and I see the truth of them in his eyes. I see the happiness in them when he is with me--which is good because he usually hasn't shaved off his beard and refuses to shave his mustache so I can't see his full face! lol
