would like to visit the set and set and see how and where and when it's made.
have been a fan for years and curious to know.

I suspect it is made in New York City since the Precinct is located in Manhattan. The cast has changed so much over the years but the spirit of the show remains the same. Check out the web site and that might give you more information than I have. Great show!

My guess is that it's filmed on set in Hollywood. Isn't it on NBC? It's probably filmed at the NBC studios in Hollywood.
