firstly, please recommend some up-to-date authors and good examples of their work. I've enjoyed William Gibson, Azimov, Heinlein, Di- Phillip K. Dick, and Harlan Ellison. Secondly (if you're still reading) there is a story I read once; a ship on a long trip. the crew begins to become addicted to tethering themselves to the ship and floating out there for longer and longer periods....ring any bells? Live long and prosper. Nanoo nanoo.

I was shocked recentely when i ordered some pastel primer (its a base for pastels which is rough and allows chalk or pastel to stick] i got it from an art store in america and got a 32 oz jar cos i couldn't find one big enough in this country, usually cheaper in larger quantities... but forgot shipment would be expensive [£30 quid postage] yikes and only £20 for primer which was "GOLDEN acrylic ground for pastels"

I have been trying to track an actor who, five years ago was quite well known. His name is Ben Onwukwe and I have had no luck in finding out what he's doing. Any help you can give me would be great.

I don't like any of that fantasy/vampire crap. I'm looking for something with a good story behind it. Something normal... not trashy.

I did enjoy "Opposites Attract" by Michelle M Pillow, and some of the Nora Roberts stuff is pretty good. I'm looking forward to reading "Good in Bed" by Jennifer Weiner" just to clue you into my genre.

The Pope rarely makes pronouncements on anything. Why has he chosen this very touchy religion to criticise?

Since most christians regard christianity as a faith based on the concept of LOVE , and since most Christians loath descrimination and religious intolerence and respect human rights and feel regret for the horrendous actions of the colonial powers of the past. Then it would be hard to wage a crusade against muslim nation without waging an emotional/religious campaign to change the public opinion of chirstians . Isn't it a campign of hate similar to the campaigns launched by the Nazis against the Jews? Isn't the only purpose of such attempts is to provoke the muslims as much as possible, then record their reactions and display it in the media in a way that depicts them as animals worthy of being slain by christian forces in countries like Iraq, iran, etc?

Does someone like Paris Hilton realize the majority of people think shes better suited to be ground up in a meat machine and fed to hungry people in Ethiopia?
Shes like one of those stereotype depictions you see in a horror movie and wish would be the first to die and in the most gruesome way.

I'm a pretty good dancer - good rhythm, good footwork, I lead really well and I'm always in sync with my partner. But I've always had a problem of stiff hips. It's not that I'm a shy dancer or anything, I just can't make my hips move like other dancers I see. Any suggestions to loosen 'em up?

Sorry if I seemed dumb, but I don't get it. Does he mean one knows how to think with the brain, so one is a human being? And if one does not know how to think, then one is not a human being? As in animals don't think, therefore they are animals?
