I have a stack of "not read yet" books, because I buy them as used paperbacks at the local thrift store, for the most part, and I buy what I can get when I am there. Then I find some rising to the top of the stack, and some falling. But whenever there is more than one by the same author, I always try to read them in chronological order by date of publication. Do you have a special protocol for the books you have stashed?

While in line at a book store a while ago I read the back cover to this book about a guy who realizes his intelligence has gotten him nowhere in life, and has lead to many of his downfalls. The book is about his quest to become less intelligent. It sounded really interesting, but I can't remember the title! please help me out here, and If you've read it, I'd love to hear what you thought of it. It seemed like it had the potential to be really good or really pretentious and self indulgent.

If God exist in our universe - then there is such thing bigger than God, namely the universe + God. If he exists outside the Universe, what's that then? Paradise? And is this whole then bigger than God?

I mean like more than fifty years old, those leather-bound kind of hardbacks. Something with a really original, thrilling and chilling story that will keep the hardened Stephen King fan happy. Not Frankenstein or Dracula, they're too well known.

Living just for tomorrow
Is but a fool's estate
Where so prompt is sorrow,
Joy always one day's wait.
