While in line at a book store a while ago I read the back cover to this book about a guy who realizes his intelligence has gotten him nowhere in life, and has lead to many of his downfalls. The book is about his quest to become less intelligent. It sounded really interesting, but I can't remember the title! please help me out here, and If you've read it, I'd love to hear what you thought of it. It seemed like it had the potential to be really good or really pretentious and self indulgent.

At first I also thought "flowers for Algernon"but that's about a guy who is kind of retarded to begin with, then gets a treatment and becomes intelligent and then later the intelligence wears of again. Great book though.
