I have been in a bellydance troupe for over 2 years, and I am now starting to dance on my own as well. I am having a hard time finding and picking out a stage name that suits me. I would like something exotic and meaningful as well. Any ideas?

This is another poem that i wrote , more sensitive than the last and without doubt , a masterpiece !

There were these Burberry boys
Hanging outside the local shop
Acting hard and pulling a strop
Well what could i do , i had to make 'em stop.

I turned around and started to run
Went to my house , looked for a gun
Well i 'aint bad ,but i 'aint a nun
I'm being for real , it 'aint a pun

Ran super fast out the house
Very quite, just like a mouse
Like a Ninja I was ready to pounce
Killed all of 'em and i won't renounce.

I do hope you enjoyed that one , I know the Vicar enjoyed it as we enjoyed our summer holiday in the south of France. Ah..French wine , the open air .......a true gift for poets everywhere.

Why is it that money always speaks in western culture, whereas people don't care about, or want to help, each other. It is now the case everywhere in the world. Why?

I'm looking for some good science fiction books at a tenth grade reading level for my little brother. If you know of a good Science fiction book please tell me the Title and/or the author. I was thinking maybe the book "Things Not Seen." I know that it is a Science Fiction book, but I'm not sure if it would be a good tenth grade book. Any information helps!
Thanks Guys!

We have lots of statistics on the world religions. They are usually given to us by governments or some other special interst group. I personally grew up Catholic, but gave it up long ago because it just didn't fit what I felt in my soul. I consider myself Wiccan. I'm just curious about how other feel. Thanks and Blessed Be.

By abstraction I mean the human capacity for generalization and association. It's one of our most powerful mental tools, and it's use can lead to more "fundamental truths."

At some point though, the loss of accuracy must outweigh any additional benefit. A white canvas in theory reflects every color from every pixel and thus reflects every picture that can ever be, but as art, it has no value at all.

How does one recognize that threshold where further abstraction is unproductive?

I do hope you enjoy this one , it is one of many that i have had published .

My Dad used to hit me with a stick ,
He was smelly and called muppet Rick .
I got older and realised he was thick,
So I killed him with a heavy housebrick.

My mum , she went off track,
Slept around and ended up on crack.
So i shot her in the head,
But shes not dead !

The silly cow is still alive
Lives with a tramp in a right old dive ,
Talks **** and loads of byle
Eats chips and watches Jeremy Kyle.

I wrote this rather splendid poem whilst enjoying a day out with the local Vicar . It was a lovely sunny day and we both enjoyed the boat race and as i gazed into the willows , these words came to me . Great?

My boss' birthday is tomorrow he will be 56. There are 5 women in my department and we cannot figure out what in the world to get him. One of them called me and asked me to do all of the thinking. So far we came up with a balloon a card and to order pizza for lunch. I also came up with the idea for flowers but they said it was gay. Please any ideas? Plus we don't want him to know we're getting him something. This is tough!

Homosexuality was called "sodomy" under old British law, and Wilde, the author of a number of popular satires, served a sentence in the jail (or "gaol") at Reading, upon being convicted of illegal acts during a liaison with a young man.

The popular playwright and poet was deeply moved upon witnessing a man being executed for slaying the woman he loved, as he was himself a fellow convict in a case centering around love. Straights, of course, were then as now unlikely to reciprocate with compassion for a man or woman suffering as a result of acting on his or her homosexuality.

The poem says in part:

"For all men kill the thing they love...By all let this be heard!...Some men do it with a smile,...Some with a flattering word. The coward does it with a kiss, ...The brave man with a sword."

Earnest and immortal words by the author of the satirical play, "The Importance of Being Earnest". Judas had kissed Jesus in betrayal, and Wilde's paramour had kissed and told!
