If I would exempt (?) living without a lie, I am confused enough to not get very far at all. If I would however accept living without a lie, I wouldn't even know where to begin. In truth though, one cannot get very far without a lie. In all lies, one can get very far lying and cheating one's way further than you can imagine.
All puns intended.

I'm pretty upfront and direct most of the time. I think the only time I might be tempted to tell a lie would be to protect someone's self-esteem.

I think I am so direct and honest that it turns most people off. I have been told that I can be quite blunt, at times.

For me the truth is easier than a lie.

"If you can't say something pleasant, then keep it to yourself"

I just keep things to myself. If someone asks me, I will tell them the truth, sometimes in small parts. The whole truth can injure, so sometimes, you gently don't disclose everything. If you have the other person's welfare as first, then you won't be lying.

But if someone presses me for the truth, the whole truth, I will take a deep breath and lay it all out on the line, but it will be because they knew ahead of time that I was not going to pussy-foot around. So, most folk don't press me on issues.

And I just maintain my quiet pleasant demeanor.... ;)

not very far. at some point of someone's life they lie. whether it be a white lie or a lie to try to make it not their fault, or whether it's a lie to try to make it appear better than what it is. some people even lie to themselves. sometimes you just have to lie. other lies include covering up something or leaving out bits of things that happened, or not being completely honest with others. in a way, lieing is inevitable. i've told what i would see as quite a big lie to my parents, but at the same time, i thought it had to be done, not just for me but for them. i got into a bad situation that i found i couldnt get myself out of. i got taken to this car where if i hadnt of said that i needed to be home they would have raped me. instead they tried to do other things to me and tried to convince me anyway for sex and their penises. i hesistated throughout being in the car, but they got other ideas in their head thinking that i was only doing that because there was someone outside watching. it wasnt that at all, i was just too tired to push with force, them away. they even tried to hold my boobs and rub against them, and tried to finger me. luckily i managed to escape after they wanted to go play on the poker machines, however i found that i couldnt cope as i was on my way home. i was in tears the whole way home. i couldnt let my parents know what had happened, so i told them that i was at the library, that i was more outside of the library walking and trying to think at the same time because i was upset. it took about four lies to get to that story. however, the next day i had confided in my sister. she wanted me to go to the police, but i knew i couldnt put myself through that. i told the guy that was responsible for this that i was never gonna see him ever again, and i havnt seen him since then. i guess what im trying to say is sometimes you just have to lie to save people from hearing what really happened because of the severity, and the hurt they would be facing if they were to hear the absolute truth.

Depends how we define LIE!
There are the conditional lies, which govern our existence! Thus, we can't move without lies!
