Many historians say that the Battle of Midway was the turning point of WWII for Japan. After that, they could never hope to win. I say that even if they had won the battle, they would still have lost due to American industrial capacity. What do you think?

Has anyone heard of Little Critter books?

If so do they still print them? i used to have a whole bunch when i was little, and my mom still denies giving them to charity. The only place i could find them was at a second hand book store. I actually used to have almost all of em too!

Is there a record of how people spoke Old Engish?

Of course Chaucer's Canterbury Tales gives us a sense of the word choice that was used in Middle English but does anyone know about Old English. When was Beowulf actually written down? Did that take place in Middle English?

Does anyone know the name of this artist?

He´s a painter. I´ve looked for his work on google and everywhere, but i just cant seem to find anything or even his name. All i know is that he made this really famous painting of a transvestite, painting a picture of another transvestite....i havent actually seen this paintin myself, but that´s the description i´ve heard...but i hope that shines some light on who he may be?
