Religion is a philosophy in itself.
Worship is the enforcement of the observation of the philosophy endorsed by the religion through demand and encouragement by virtue of a system of punishment and reward.

Religion without philosophy is akin to action without intention, speech without meaning, existence without purpose.
The result of which is, sadly, the degenerate state of things that has become much of the world today.

Religion has nothing to do with philosophy. Despite what the "religious" people insist that they are philosophing. That's a big lie.

Religion is DOGMA. Acceptance by convention. No questions are allowed and no objections. The person who follows a particular religion has to be blindfolded and to obey.
On the other hand.
Philosophy has no Dogmatic pathway. Analysis and objection are a must. Thesis and antithesis must initiate the Philosophical way of thought.
