It would not have made any difference to me, to you or to God almighty, we would have been what we are, because He is perfect and the ultimate and He is the creator of all things big and small. If He were to be the way you have wished for then He would have been so perfect in doing with you have just beginning to imagine that no one would have noticed any reason for doubt, or have felt any need of inquiring.
A perfect stranger is a stranger that cannot be known or become a focus of human intuitiveness for familiarity. God in any form would not have been a question, but an answer to His own being whatever way He would have chosen to be. This is the reason that I am I, and you are you, and no one asks us why I am I, or you are you. A perfect question has no answer, and a perfect thing cannot be questioned. This is belief. I ask you - can God be two people instead of just one stranger; and can He be more than two instead one being just two; or can He be everybody without anybody having any realisation of Him being them, or having any doubts about them being Him in reality. Is it possible?
The journey home with God, however, would be a journey of peace and love. God in all His forms, guises and capacities would be a perfect caring, kind, compassionate, merciful and benevolent, and all-in-all, being to all who would accompany Him along a long but safe journey home.

If God were one of us he'd say 'Golly gosh, one finds public transport absolutely frightful' ( I always imagine God as a middle class white guy who's trying to sound upper class) and would regret not to giving humans the ability to fly.
If he couldn't be bothered giving me a pair of wings then he can pick his own name.

I don't think its actually possible to talk to God to his face...did you ever see the movie Dogma? That's what I believe, even though its from a movie but whatever. God is a almighty being and why should we be so privileged to speak to him face to face?

well, i have already answered a question on my views of god, and i believe that god is within each one of us. so each one of us is trying to make his way home, trying to find out what their life is all about. each one of us has a name, if god was one of us, then he would also have a name like each of us.

He probably wouldn't be caught in traffic jams, and not need night lights (well He's usualy depicted with a halo right?). He would probably do all the stuff from Bruce Almighty too.

Eric Clapton is his name... did you miss it? And if he was trying to make his way home I'd offer him a ride over to my place so we could do some jamming and not quote popular songs on Yahoo! Answers... ;)

If there is a god, I imagine him (for he it will be) called "Dave". But I'm probably presuming far too much.
