the past the present or the future?

Since the past and the future do not exist except as mental constructs, I choose to live in the present. It's astonishing to me how many people choose to live in the past or future. Not just in response to this question, but every day. Dreaming that you eat a good meal in the past or the future just isn't nourishing.

I would like to stay in the present because the past was horrible for me and the present is a bit scary and unclear (and death is closer by that time) so I rather live life at the moment.

i'd choose the past. i want to have a simpler way of living. nowadays, living in urbans and cities are fast paced and keeps on moving. you dont have time anymore to stop nor pause for awhile and have a look and appreciate the beauty of your sorroundings. people are so focused on progression and evolution that it somehow complicate things. almost everyone wants to be noticed and bested by their ideas.

Edwardian,(early 1800's ?) but only if i could be wealthy, i love all the romance of the era, men were gentlemen and women were ladies. If you were at a ball and wanted to meet someone you liked, you could only do so if you already knew someone who knew them and agreed to introduce you (they were entitled to refuse) I love all the romantic intrigue of that era. Plus it was before all the advent against love and sex that the victorian era brought in.
