Sexual feelings are the cul-de-sak of the human race. Experts in the study of why we feel love state that there are three types of love: State 1 involving testosterone and estrogen that get us out on the path of seeking a special person in our lives, tStage 2 which is that feeling of being on cloud nine in which dopamine and serotonin put us in spells of being in love, and then Stage 3 where the body produces oxytocin which makes us feel a dependency on that special person. We are programmed to be discontent with ourselves, to not be self contained, and to continually yearn to replicate that ecstasy which in orgasm only lasts for a period of seconds. Sex ruins lives and potential. See Thomas Hardy's novel, Jude the Obscure, and notice the friends that you have who either unwittingly got pregnant or found that their lovers artfully got pregnant to have a permanent bond in their lives. When society reinforces in people's minds the idea that the only permanency we have in an evanescent existence the better we will become as human beings. That being said on a rational level, still the sexual urge and the inane habit of indulging in sexual relationships as if this time it is going to transform us is a strong human urge and thus like fools we continually do the same habits to gain that annexation of another human being and extension of ourselves in this physical sport

Where would we be without it?!
When I was young - 50 years ago - sex was only on when we were engaged or even married. If girls got pregnant there was a shotgun wedding. Now it seems a way of getting a council flat and a handout from the Government. One girl was reported in the paper as having SIX illegitimate children by SIX different men none of which she could name.
It seems to an oldy like me that it's now regarded as just another way of passing the time after a night out at the pub and getting drunk.
DONT! One woman - or man - is enough for anybody in a worthwhile relationship.

Sex is used to be a scared physical union through love.
Nowadays in society its more of a recreational and/or social activity and a multi-million dollar industry, something everyone is interested in but seldom admit to, and something alot of people are more happy to indulge in its process over its discussion.
