I am 46, intrigued by the same thing, and telling you - don't ever stop believing..........like the guy said - Shakespeare - look what it did for him. May I suggest a literary career?

Amy Brown is an artist who does fairies - search for some of her work. Possibly an art career is ahead for you?

I really think you should explore these interests - you obviously feel strongly about this.

The kid inside me likes stuff like that and I think if you are a positive human being then being fascinated by such things is normal.
But I don think there is a very sinister side to it too. Take for instance Midsummer Nights Dream which is full of such things many people think it is a wonderful play to go and take your children to because of it's mystical characters but I think it is because of them that the play is really dark and in some respects disturbing. Therefore I do think there is a dark side to them and it isn't all English country garden!

I adore fairies angels,mermaids/men,elves and pixies anything mystical i guess it comes from childhood,me and my sister still maintain we saw fairies when we were children.

We have recently had our garden landscaped into a mystical fairy garden.

A shop called pastimes sell some beautiful fairies for your garden.

Well, then I guess there are a lot of us out there. I've been fascinated ever since reading Peter Pan and fairy tales as a kid. There's something otherworldly about all these creatures that takes us out of our ordinary lives and transports us somewhere fantastic and mystical. It relieves us of our normal daily burdens and stresses.

I have always found ethereal creatures very aesthetically pleasing, and I am a complete Atheist and sceptic! Suspension of disbelief can be a useful skill, if you are aware that you are doing it!
