the main point on life is the idea of HOPES and DREAMS , having a REASON / GOAL to go on but when all this is gone i guess u have your religion to guide you.
Try not to lose them, oh if you do get new ones =)

Go to the balcony: take an objective look at your life an present circumstances. Note your accomplishments, forget about your failures.
Find your balance: figure out what the polar axiom in your life is (e.g. spirituality vs. sex, money vs. love, social interaction vs. industrious pursuit). Identify the positive pole and the negative pole and what would balance the equation.
Build a path: make a plan. Write it down.
Walk the path: as Lao-tzu said: The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step.
PS: Find a God of your understanding, place your trust in Him. Pray for those experiences which will bring you strength to be shown to you (they are always there but we cannot always see them). Ask that His will be shown to you and ask for the strength to carry out His will. You will be a much happier person doing good works than doing work good.

When everything seems hopeless? I've been there. I've opened my eyes in the morning and wondered why I'm even bothering to wake up. I've sat down to eat and wondered why I'm bothering to sustain my body. I've wanted to curl up and just waste away. I've wanted to die, when it looked like my life could not possibly get any worse.
But I kept opening my eyes every morning. I kept eating when I was hungry. I kept doing the things I needed to do to keep my life going. Granted I did most of that on auto-pilot because I couldn't deal with what was going on around me, but I kept living.
One day I woke up and decided that I wasn't going to exist on auto-pilot anymore. I was going to take control back in my life and make it into something better. So I did.
Inner strength is what keeps you going when you don't think you can. It's what wakes you up every day. It's what gets you out of bed. It's being on auto-pilot until you want control back. It's what keeps you from going crazy when you think you're losing your mind.
We all have Inner Strength. The trick is to believe it.

Perhaps fully experiencing the hopelessness rather than avoiding it--is the escape hatch that will lead to the joy you seek. This inner strength will be there for you,in love&light.

From my personal experience, there comes the moment in your life when you realize that either you mobilize yourself or you are dead. Sure, you might read nice motivation quotes, books of prominent psychologists, do auto-training or whatever.
But it's YOU, AND NO ONE EXCEPT YOU that will take you out of sh*t.
