I came across this question in a book called Freakonomics . In the recently held FIFA World Cup there were so many instances of players fakely diving for penalties . The same players were treated as heros in their country . On the other side the Italian club teams were punished for match fixing .

So is cheating to lose more bad than cheating to win ?

their shyness and get themselves closeted in their tightened boundaries. This very nature disqualifies them and they do not come to the front. I have seen students with real talents, but unable to exhibit due to their shyness. This made me write this poem to encourage them.

I request your comments please. I posted the poem some one hour back. Will you post your comments please?

The 2 sayings are both about the power of words. The first saying say words are powerless while the second says the opposite. Which one do you lean toward and why? TWH 08232006

I read recreationally, and somewhat sporadically. I'm fond of the dystopian novels, the horror genre, and biting, mind-expanding sarcasm and satire. I like a book that can make me laugh, and something a little darker, a little less boring, typical and mass-produced. Hopefully, that rambling, incoherent mess of details made some sense. Thanks for the suggestions.

I am sooooooooooo in love with a celebirty but, sadly, he has a girlfriend who played in the movie 'Superman'.... Kate Bosworth(shudder).... Yeah, it's Orlando Bloom...
I am sooo bummed right now, I don't even eat! I lost 12 pounds and I haven't eaten anything in the last 3 days. I'd do anythink just for him to smile at me... I know it sounds kinda dumb but it's true... I have NEVER felt this way toward anyone in my life. Sure, I fell in love with most celebirties but this love has went too far and I really need to meet him... If you have ANY IDEAS PLEASE write back.

I mean you would be able to relate and be friends with more people. But if you want to make a difference in this world, you got to be a rebel.

I realize I have posted this before, but I have new information that might help. He was originally from the Dublin, Ireland, area. He was a stowaway along with (we think) his wife. They were caught and worked as cooks on the ship. This was sometime in the late 1800s, approx. 1881. He had a son named Dennis D., among others. He is known to have been in Tennessee and Mississippi. He was almost drafted into WW1. Any information is appreciated.

My wife has just opened a photography studio; hence I am trying to get some information on designing and preparing backdrops versus paying 200 dollars plus for them. What is best Canvas drop cloth or Muslin? What type of paint should one use?, Or should one use dye? If there is some literature explaining these questions I have a heads up would be nice too.
