I'll probably tell you more than you want to know because this is my favorite subject and I take great pride in what I feel might be of some value to someone other than myself. I started my journey 71 years ago. I wake up every morning and I'm thankful for another day. I have always loved life. I have a strong belief that we should live the age we are. I'm never bored and have little tolerence when I hear someone say they are bored. If you always do what you have to do then you will be too busy to be bored. Every year just gets better and time goes by faster each year. I like to read. I get real nervous if I don't have a least 3 books waiting to be read. I have written my personal history. I have kept notes and taken pictures of events, family and friends all my life. I spent three years compiling and writing my history. I have written and compiled with my cousins help the history of each of our family lines. This has taken five enjoyable years. It's done. Now I'm working on a picture story of every place I have lived, all the cars we have owned and family and friends we know. No matter how old you are keep notes or a journal so some day you can leave a lagacy of your life to your posterity. I watch all the NBA basketball games. I have my favorite team but I enjoy all the teams. I like learning about each team player. I have many grandchildren and great grand children. 5 married children. They all love to come and visit us. They come because they really want to. If I could change anything, it would be that I would have continued my education and got my Masters Degree. I made mistakes when I was young but I learned from each mistake. The worst thing that can happen is to have not learned by our mistakes. Love and respect all and in return you will be loved and respected. Thank You for your question.

Childhood was good. Didn't have to worry about what I was going to cook for dinner or if the laundry got done, the bills paid, the kids' baths given.

Next, I would say mid 70's, just before I went into the Army. Worked at the racetrack as a hotwalker. Hard work but lots of fun. I was 19 then. Following that, the 30s. Gave birth to my son 2 weeks after my birthday; practiced Tai Kwon Do & Tai Chi, competed in a 26-mile river raft competition.

The 40s, had some problems there. Early 40s, I buried both parents, almost lost my parents' house to foreclosure because I lost my job. Ended up giving the family pets away because where we moved, the bigger dogs couldn't come in. 45 saw me in jail for the first time in my life for supposedly endangering my child. Longest damned 5 days I ever spent there. Haven't been back, either, nor do I ever intend to do that again. The past 5 years have been a struggle, but this year is starting to wind down and even out now.

The 50s? Couldn't tell ya! Haven't gotten totally into that age group yet. Will let you know!

I almost said the 1960s when I was in my teens/20s, because growing up during that time in SF was amazing.

But I really think now is the answer. I have 2 fantastic children, a home I like (not very big, but I'm happy w/it), 3 cats, a husband, a job I don't dread going to and that I think I am good at. And a part-time freelance writing job. I have more confidence now than ever before. I don't try to impress anybody. If somebody likes me, fine. If not, it's not really important. I'm not trying to be like anyone else or envying those who have a lot of "stuff."

The best time of my life is the present!

For me, it's been more like months of years. There have been so many good times. I think the best overall years were 11, 15, 16, 19, 21, 25, 30, and 32. The worst were 11, 15, 16, 19, 21, and 25. So, I guess the worst years were also the best. The highest highs usually have the lowest lows for me.

I am still striving to get the best years "under my wing".

The problem was islam. I was abused from age 5-6 and still the pain and the hurt and the torture continues.

I try very hard but everytime I look around, some muslim is coming along ruining my day or my month or year or whatever.

How do I get out of it? Well they have pledged to take over the world in the name of ALLAH and violate my rights and yours.

The United Nations sits and talks and talks and gives our home away to them.

The United states also in the same kind of planning.

So how should I even make the best day forget about the month or year?

I am in my late fifties.
Hope, I am old enough to answer your question.

In my experience it was a gradual growth from good to better yet and the best may be still to come. So far the change is positive and I don't know when the diminishing point starts, if there any at all.

Like seasons in a year, life can have better and worse, but best really is complicated to narrow down. When I was younger I had a better body and mind. Now I know how to use my body and mind better.
Please ask another question, What does society do to help a certain age of people enjoy themselves more?
