Somebody told me did you know that the poor average Indian muslim is being targeted at by police and law enforcement and being arrested, harassed, threatened and intimidated for crimes they did not commit, under the name of "terrorist sweep"? I said how would I know and even if I knew why would I care? As far as I am concerned, each Indian muslim is at a much better position than any of my family - one of my relatives is female and she hasnt had sex in like 40 years - this is true - they made her husband run away - these are the same people who are creating all the hullaballoo about family sex and babies and projecting themselves as the do-gooders and the servers - it took them 10 years at age 33 to even bring one hindu female atleast partially meeting requirements.. So what were they doing all these days?? Playing with metaphors, models, advertising and publcity - same thing - chatting, emailing, viewing porn, etc. in the office without doing any real work for which you are getting paid - So I am doing the same thing they are doing - doing nothing but making a huge fuss about it attracting all attention towards myself...

Guess that would depend on one's definition of "important." What's important to one of us might mean nothing to somebody else!

Right now I'm on summer break from the school district where I work. Since I've been virtually homebound due to a broken foot, I feel I've accomplished a lot. I've read over 10 books and written 13 chapters in the book I'm writing.

To me, I've accomplished something important. Some days maybe I've "slacked off" but I think everybody's entitled to some down time. Not every minute needs to be spent doing something meaningful. We all need time to just sit, think, and "be."

Well during the summer when school's out, yea. But during school, I spend only some of the time doing nothing important.

Yes in fact I don't believe I have ever done anything important my entire life with the exception of saving a man from falling into ice on his snow mobile, and giving a three speeches on cancer. so thats like an hour of my life.

In my opinion there is one important thing in life, love/family. Everything else either supports this (for us married folk) or hinders it. The only things I do that are important are for my family and improving the world.

That depends - how you define important. Is your "important" the same as mine? What are you trying to imply? Man! This is a loaded question! Or is it just me that's loaded. Hmmmmm ...

During the summer, pretty much.

unless there's something TO do. Then it's a whole different ball game.

But that's why this site exists, right?
