india gained independence from british rule in 1947 while goa which is very much a part of india gained independence from portuguese rule only in 1961, why did this happen, i find it very strange and without parallel in the history of colonization.

I've been thinking about different styles and mediums of art to play around with, and I remembered seeing some at an art display I had seen.

If I remember right, it was accomplished by putting wax on the cavas and dyeing the uncovered area and repeating the process.

So, does anyone know what this is called, or anything close to what I'm trying to seek? Other recomendations of mediums to experiment with would also be apreciated. Thanks.

If you are religious- what is the best argument you have heard against a belief in God? If you are non-religious and don't believe in a God type, what is the best argument you have heard in favour?

As an agnostic verging on atheist, the best argument in favour of God in my opinion is Paul Tillich's ontology of existence.
