The series will continue. She hasn't decided how many yet. Just that it will be more than three or four. Eclipse is the third book in the series. She's already working on the fourth book in the series. It's in an outline stage of the process. Midnight Sun is a parallel/companion novel to Twilight told from Edward's point of view. So maybe that will lead to more books from his pov too! The website makes it clear she's not tiring of these characters and fans can expect great fiction for years to come!

"Eclipse: Book Three of the Twilight Series

Eclipse continues the story of Bella and Edward, along with their friends and family in Forks. The story will pick up right where New Moon leaves off, and Bella will continue to narrate.

I'm just beginning the first round of editing on Eclipse, and I will be working as fast as I can in order to get it out on the same schedule as the last two, in fall of 2007.

Eclipse will not be the last book in the story of Bella and Edward. Book four, still untitled, is already in outline form, and I will begin work on it as soon as Eclipse is finished.

Look for more information and updates when New Moon is out in stores."
