I am a women who knows how to be persuasive with my partner, and get him to do what i want sometimes, even through the history book you read about women who had the upper hand, being able to sway men towards their way of thinking using their seductive ways, (what power we have)....can anyone out there name some of the famous women and their lovers, who fell under their spell, eg Solomon and Sheeba.

Several years ago Great Performances broadcast the Goodman Theatres production of The Grapes of Wrath. It was a musicalization of the story. I have been trying to get a copy of that with no success. Does anyone have info on it? Thanks.

Two neighbours are talking over the fence and they nod wisely and agree that the grass is always greener the other side of the fence.
Would they still agree if they swapped places?

I had a little ballet traing when i was little, like 6, then stopped until i was 113, when i did some beginer classes, because by figure skating coach thought it would be good to improve my flexiblity and grace. I have talken classes on and off, and now at 16, I am still not on pointe, but have started dancing full-time. I am in a ballet class called ballet 3, in a studio that goes up too 4, then pre-pointe, then pointe. I lknow the little girls are kept of pointo for like 4-5 years, mostly becasue they need strong bones in thier feet, witch have not yet developed. So my question is after years of skating and some ballet, can i go on pointe soon?

this thought has been eating away at me for the past few days. i awoke the other night with such a depressing feeling, that i am not the same person 5 years ago, let alone five minutes ago. the fact that we are ever growing older, & never to be young again. life seems to go by too fast at times, & i don't like that. granted i'm still quite young, i feel old because i see how "the adult life" is creaping up on me with such haste, it frightens me at times. so i wonder, how do i bewid this impression?
