Forgot your password?

Let me add some context:

This is for a password retrieval message for a website....

Forgot your password?

or

Forget your password?

Does 'forgot' not assume past tense, like someone had forgotten their password, but now they could have remembered it?

Forget your password? is correct (insert 'Did you' before to figure it out.)

If you were going to use 'forgot' it would actually need to be 'Forgotten your password?' (insert 'Have you' before to figure it out)

I'm assuming since you have it in question form, that you are not meaning to say this as a command, but as a question.

Depends upon whether you want to "forget your password" or you just plain "forgot your password". Hope that helps:)

Be sure that you "don't forget your password" or "I forgot my password". Depends on what you are trying to say.

Forgot your password.

Either works, most websites prefer forget.

Forgot is the inflected form (or the past tense form). That is I Forgot it prior to just now where as forget implies that you have done it just recently.

Forgot is more accurate but most people understand either.
